Retail Australasia Summit and Expo

Representatives of e-Blended Learning Solutions recently attended the Retail Australasia Summit and Expo held in Auckland.

The conference focus was on strategies to ensure customer satisfaction. It included sessions such as Corporate Social Responsibility in Retailing, Electronic and Online Retailing and Environmentally Sustainable Retail Operations. The summit was a huge success with over 200 attendees; most of whom were senior representatives from leading retailers throughout New Zealand and Australia.

e-BLS had a unique and visually-appealing booth which demonstrated how e-BLS can help clients take control of their staff's learning experience.

A ten-minute presentation on 'How to increase the cost-effectiveness of your training' was given to the delegates by Sarah Brosnan the Business Development Manager for e-BLS. In this presentation, Sarah highlighted the fact that more and more businesses want just-in-time learning that fits around their schedules. She also pointed out that online and e-learning can significantly reduce training costs by saving on expenses, such as travel, accommodation and meals.

Sarah told the delegates that with the use of a diverse range of delivery formats, including mobile apps, portable media and learning management system-based content, they can cost-effectively upskill their staff while at the same time keep productivity levels high.

The presentation also emphasised how e-BLS can supply clients with solutions that ensure that their training is effective, consistent and, most importantly, provides a measurable return on investment.
